Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a local professor who went missing Wednesday evening and may intend to harm himself.

Bruce Chadwick, 48 was reported missing on Thursday by his girlfriend after she discovered typed notes which contained alarming language, alluding to suicide, according to police sources.

The Harlem resident was last seen leaving his house on West 135th street near Riverside Drive around 9:30 p.m., cops said

Chadwick is described as 5’10, 200 lbs with blue eyes, brown hair, last seen wearing a navy blue pea coat

According to Chadwick’s LinkedIn and Facebook pages, he has taught Political Science and International Affairs at Columbia University, as well as Finance and Economics at Montclair State University.
