Beyoncé Knowles showed off her new baby — and her new braids — yesterday as she braved New York’s oppressive summer heat after a shopping trip to Bergdorf Goodman with 6-month-old Blue Ivy Carter.

The retro hairdo brought back memories of Beyoncé’s Destiny’s Child roots.

For the past several years, she’s been wearing her hair in a more natural, wavy style.

Beyoncé’s duds were also a show stopper — she stepped out in a bright, multicolored jumper.
