A bicyclist was critically injured early Monday when he was struck by a taxi in Chinatown, police said.
The cyclist was pedaling near the corner of Bowery and Canal Street when the taxi plowed into him around 7 a.m.
He was thrown from the bike and rushed to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition.
The taxi driver remained at the scene, police said.
The incident is still under investigation.
