A bicyclist was seriously injured when he was struck by a box truck in Queens on Tuesday, authorities said.

The 27-year-old man was pedaling down 43rd Ave. near 39th Street in Sunnyside when the accident happened around 7:30 a.m.

The truck driver was making a right turn onto the 39th St. he hit the cyclist.

The man was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital with severe body trauma, officials said.

The driver remained on scene and has not been charged with a crime.
