Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden dominated President Trump in Connecticut on Tuesday, rolling through the heavily suburban state, the Associated Press projects.

The AP call came shortly after the polls closed at 8 p.m. across the state.

The race between Biden and Trump was never expected to be close in the Nutmeg State. A recent poll from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield showed Biden ahead by 25 percentage points, leading Trump by a 51-26 margin.
