The city may be slamming the brakes on rogue delivery bicyclists who fail to don proper safety gear — but the City Council wants a crackdown on serious infractions, such as running red lights.
The criticism came at a hearing yesterday, after the Department of Transportation supported legislation requiring commercial cyclists to wear reflective apparel.
