Bill Clinton is wasting no time after his latest heart surgery in redoubling his efforts to prevent heart disease – he’s set to face the press tomorrow at his Harlem offices for an update on a pro-health venture he launched shortly after his initial bypass operation in 2004.
He will be talking about childhood obesity and cures for it, according to a release from his office.
“President Clinton will celebrate the success of the Alliance for a Healthier Generation with an update on the initiative and specific success stories,” the release says.
The appearance also comes less than a week after he underwent an emergency procedure to insert two stents and free up blockages, following several days of chest pain.
He’s also set to appear at a Bronx event in honor of Black History Month tomorrow night.
