A JetBlue flight bound for Florida from Westchester struck a bird yesterday and had to make an emergency landing at JFK Airport.

The Fort Myers-bound flight with 73 people aboard hit the bird shortly after departing White Plains and landed at JFK “out of an abundance of caution” at 8:25 a.m., a JetBlue spokesman said.

There were no injuries. The passengers arrived at Fort Myers on another plane at 12:35 p.m.
