It’s a good thing Valentine’s Day is for cuddling, because weekend temperatures could plunge to historic lows.
Back-to-back arctic air masses will cause temperatures to drop Friday to 21 degrees, with gusts making it feel 2 to 3 degrees at times, AccuWeather meteorologist Dan Kotplowski said.
Another storm around midnight Saturday will bring more bitter cold and 1 to 3 inches of snow, he said.
Sunday could see 2 degrees. Monday, at 6 degrees, could be the coldest Feb. 15 in 130 years.
