State Sen. Eric Adams is in the driver’s seat to be Brooklyn’s next borough president.
The ex-cop appears to have a clear path to replace term-limited Marty Markowitz, since fellow Democrat Carlo Scissura dropped out yesterday to head the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.
No one else is currently planning to run on the Democratic line in the 2013 race, sources said.
