A seven-year-old Brooklyn boy was hit by an MTA bus near a depot at about 6 p.m., authorities said.

The boy was struck on Crescent Street near Flatlands Avenue in East New York.

“He was walking across the street but that bus was going so fast it didn’t have time to stop and it struck him hard,” said a neighbor, who saw the accident but declined to give his name. “He was lying on his back and there was blood pouring down the side of his face.”

The neighbor said the boy’s mother and grandmother ran screaming into the street and that the boy regained consciousness and started crying.

The boy was taken to Brookdale Hospital, according to the FDNY.
