A teen was fighting for his life after getting shot in the stomach aboard a city bus yesterday in Brooklyn.

The bloodshed took place shortly after 4:30 p.m. in the back of a B60 bus in Bushwick, an NYC Transit spokesperson said.

After the driver heard the commotion, he pulled over at Wilson Avenue and Stanhope Street and opened the doors, sending the panicked passengers fleeing, the spokesperson said.

The driver found the 18-year-old victim, who was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition.

Witnesses said the shooter, described as a man in his 20s, fled.

Police pulled surveillance footage from a nearby bodega.

The bus shooting was the first in recent memory. In 2008, bus driver Edwin Thomas was stabbed to death by a fare beater aboard a B46 bus in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
