A marital dispute turned violent after a hotheaded NYPD sergeant allegedly choked his wife inside their Brooklyn apartment yesterday, law enforcement sources said.

Sgt. George St Louis, 37, allegedly held his wife inside their bathroom, yanked her arm and choked her, police sources said.

The victim did not suffer any injuries, police sources said.

St. Louis was arrested around 11 p.m. and charged with unlawful imprisonment, assault and criminal obstruction of breathing.
