An electrical fire tore through a Brooklyn two-story home early yesterday, critically injuring two people and killing four dogs.

Witnesses said two brothers, 11 and 14 years old, could be seen holding their pets in the house on Bleecker Street in Bushwick shortly after 3:30 a.m.

“They threw their dogs out the window,” said neighbor Eddie Clay, 60.

The boys, who had been visiting their stepgrandmother, escaped serious injury, as did their dogs, Precious and Lady.

But their stepgrandma, Yolanda Nieves, 68, and stepuncle Jerry Nieves, 40, suffered smoke inhalation and were listed in critical condition last night at Jacobi Hospital in The Bronx.

The fire, which apparently started in a recently renovated bottom apartment, killed the homeowner’s three Chihuahuas and another visiting dog.

“They just redid the floors,” Clay said. “With all that shellac, it just went up.”
