A Brooklyn man is under arrest in connection with a hit-and-run accident that killed an 88-year-old woman.

Police say they’ve charged Wayne Stokeling with leaving an accident resulting in death and aggravated unlicensed operator.

The victim, Isabel Rodriguez of Brooklyn, was crossing Stone Avenue at the intersection of Livonia Avenue in Brooklyn on Sunday when she was struck by a BMW sedan.

She was transported to a hospital where she died.
