Two men robbed the campaign manager of aspiring Brooklyn assemblyman Jesus Gonzalez at gunpoint in his office, cops said.
The assailants entered Gonzalez’s Bushwick campaign headquarters at 9 p.m. on Aug. 5.
One crook flashed a silver gun at Sara Johnson, 28, who was alone. The thugs stole two laptops.
“One of them had a gun. I was a little fearful,” she said. “They just told me to get in the back. We’re just fortunate no one was hurt.”
Gonzalez is seeking an Assembly seat in Bushwick as a candidate for the Working Families Party.
Police are looking for two men in their 20s, last seen wearing blue jeans and white shirts.
One of the them is about 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, and was wearing a blue baseball cap. The other is about 5-foot-7 and weighs 150 pounds.
