A brazen robber blasted a 50-year-old female worker in the chest inside a popular Bensonhurst butcher shop, police source said.

The unidentified victim was shot and wounded at about 4:35 p.m., when a lone crook came into Romeo Brothers Meats and Foods at 7801 15th Ave. and opened fire.

The woman, who sources said is a relative of the owner, was taken to Lutheran Medical Center, where she is in stable condition.

The gunman fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash and is still at large.
