A 5-year-old boy playing on his Brooklyn street was struck and killed by a meat-delivery truck yesterday, authorities said.

Joel Englender was riding a Big Wheels trike on the sidewalk of Heyward Street in Williamsburg at 5:48 p.m. when he zipped out onto the roadway. He was mowed down by a box truck pulling out of the driveway of a nearby meat factory.

The driver apparently didn’t see the boy, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

“It was a horrible accident. The driver said he never saw the kid,” said a factory employee.

No charges were filed.
