Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the House of D!

The Brooklyn House of Detention will unlock its jail cells Saturday to offer the public a first glimpse of the revamped lockup — including the inmate quarters, visiting area and kitchen.

“This is our way of trying to be a good neighbor and reintroduce ourselves to the community,” said Sharman Stein, a spokeswoman for the city Department of Correction.

The 759-bed jail will begin filling up with prisoners again starting next week. It will hold pre-trial detainees with court appearances in Brooklyn and Staten Island, among others.
