Black spoils UFT’s party
Cathie Black is having a “Mean Girls” moment.
The schools chancellor is throwing her first meet-and-greet with elected parent leaders the same night of their scheduled meeting with the teachers-union president — forcing them to choose between the competing education soirees.
On Feb. 9, the United Federation of Teachers invited the 34 Community Education Council presidents to meet with Michael Mulgrew on March 7 at 6 p.m.
Eight days later, Black invited the same parent representatives to a cocktail hour — on March 7 at 6 p.m.
