A Bronx blaze took the life of a 64-year-old woman yesterday, authorities said.

The fire broke out just before midnight Sunday on the sixth floor of the Parkside Houses on Arnow Avenue in Bronxwood. It took firefighters an hour to control the flames, said a Fire Department spokesman.

Alease Jenkins, 64, was critically injured and rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where she died from smoke inhalation.
