Blaze singes Roseland
Tickets to the Dropkick Murphys at Roseland Ballroom are the hottest ducats in town.
A two-alarm electrical fire broke out in the famed West 52nd Street concert hall’s mezzanine last night, threatening to force the cancellation of the Boston-based punk band’s shows tomorrow and Friday.
Roseland’s owner said he hopes to have the hall opened by the end of the week, according to a fire official. But it was not immediately clear if the shows would go on. The fire was reported by a cleaner, the only person inside, who called 911. Six firefighters suffered minor injuries.
