Bloody discussion
A Coney Island man was stabbed in the shoulder after he and a 19-year-old woman hashed out their differences on West 28th Street.
Officials said that a second woman was inside the home near Surf Avenue – which is part of the Sea Park Houses — at 10:30 a.m. on November 13 when she saw the two arguing.
A short time later, she saw the young woman, identified later by police as Francesca Mars, holding a bloody kitchen knife.
The man she was arguing with was bleeding from his shoulder.
When questioned later, Mars said that she came at her victim with the kitchen knife after he had pushed her, police said.
Responding officers took Mars into custody without incident, charging her with assault in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon, menacing and harassment.
Her victim had to be taken to a local hospital. The wound required surgery, prosecutors were told.
Gravesend glass attack
A 24-year-old woman was arrested in Gravesend last week after she allegedly smashed a glass shelf over her boyfriend’s head during a heated spat.
Cops from the 62nd Precinct said that they were called to the couple’s West 4th Street home between Quentin Road and Avenue P at 11 p.m. on November 14.
The 32-year-old victim told police that he was arguing with his girlfriend when she allegedly picked up a glass shelf and attacked him.
The victim suffered a deep cut to his head, officials said.
The young woman, who was not named because of her relationship to the victim, was taken into custody without incident, charged with assault.
Flier fiend
Cops had to chase down and subdue a 17-year-old whose only crime was putting fliers up in a Bath Avenue building.
Police alleged that Artem Aznaurov ran away from police as they approached him inside of the building near Bay 32nd Street on the afternoon of November 10.
Cops said that they approached the teen after they saw Aznaurov putting up fliers. When they identified themselves as police officers, Aznaurov bolted, they alleged.
He was grabbed after a short chase, but wouldn’t go willingly, officials said, adding that the teen allegedly tried to punch one of the cops and fought off any attempts to get handcuffed.
Cops ultimately charged him with assault and resisting arrest.
Unscheduled doctor’s visit
An alleged crack addict was taken into custody last week for breaking into a Brighton Beach doctor’s office, cops from the 60th Precinct said.
Police said that Victor Star, 46, allegedly broke into the Brighton 7th Street office near Surf Avenue on the night of November 12.
Cops patrolling the area reportedly spotted Star inside an examination room, rummaging through several drawers. He allegedly forced open a window in order to get inside, officials said.
Police Officer Matthew Brennan immediately took Star into custody, allegedly finding two crack pipes in his pocket as he patted him down.
Officials said that Star is currently in custody charged with burglary in the second degree, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Keyed in
A set of lost keys may have helped a burglar get into a 16th Avenue home last week, officials said.
A 38-year-old woman told police that she had lost her keys to her home near 87th Street on November 9.
On the night of November 13, she returned home to find that someone had ransacked the place.
Several pricey electronic items, as well as some clothes, were taken, said police, who have yet to determine just how the thief entered the home.
The victim believes that whoever found her keys used them to get inside.
Detectives were investigating the possibility as this paper went to press.
Super steal
The thief that broke into a Gravesend home is now a costumed villain thanks to an assortment of capes that he found in the West 2nd Street address.
Cops from the 62nd Precinct were told that someone broke into the home near Avenue P sometime before 7:45 p.m. on November 11.
The thief came in through the bedroom window after removing the air conditioner.
The clothes and capes – about $8,000 worth – were the only things missing, the resident said.
Tab breakers
Three young men were arrested for allegedly trying to wine, dine and ditch out of a Sheepshead Bay club last week.
Police said that Gregory Baffi, 18, Sean Calicchio, 24, and Justin Calicchio, 25, were all taken into custody after they were caught allegedly trying to sneak out of Club Opm, 3202 Emmons Avenue, without paying their tab.
Workers said that when approached, the trio allegedly refused to pay for services rendered, which included several alcoholic beverages they consumed.
All three were charged with theft of services. But instead of going quietly – or paying what they owed — things got progressively worse, police alleged.
When police showed up to take their suspects into custody, Sean Calicchio allegedly punched one of the cops in the chest, officials said. He also kicked the officer in the knee, alleged officials.
As cops converged on Calicchio, Baffi allegedly jumped in between his friend and the cops in an attempt to separate them from one another, prosecutors said.
Calicchio was charged with assault and resisting arrest. Baffi, despite his possible good intentions, was charged with obstructing governmental administration.
Parked car pariah
A 44-year-old motorist was arrested last week after an alleged dangerous combination of booze and drugs led to a three-car collision on Voorhies Avenue.
Police said that they arrested John Langiano shortly after midnight on November 13 after the motorist’s 2009 Kia Rio allegedly slammed into two parked cars near East 29th Street.
Their suspicion that Langiano was drunk behind the wheel was confirmed when the 44-year-old allegedly admitted to drinking four vodkas and taking Xanax and Methphormine earlier in the day.
He was ultimately charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence as well as operating a motor vehicle without safety belts.
Robbed and slashed
Cops are looking for a crew of thieves who slashed their 32-year-old victim’s face during a Sunday morning robbery in Bath Beach.
The victim told police that he was nearing the corner of 86th Street and Bay 16th Street as he made his way home at 4 a.m. November 8 when a group of unidentified males grabbed him from behind, shoved him from the ground and demanded his money.
His face was slashed open as the thieves robbed him of $10, his wallet and a cell phone, officials said.
Cops are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.
Calls can be made to the 62nd Precinct at (718) 236-2611. All calls will be kept confidential.
Ventilated and violated
A Bensonhurst grocery fell victim to a wiry thief who wiggled through the store’s ventilation system to get inside.
Workers from Maryam Grocery, 8520 20th Avenue, said that the thief accessed the store through a rooftop vent sometime around 4 a.m. on November 8.
The thief removed $300 in receipts and some lottery tickets before climbing back into the vent to freedom, officials said.
