Mayor Bloomberg thinks this week’s New Yorker caricature cover of him gazing into a heart-shaped vanity mirror is cute.
The illustration also shows a box of Valentine’s Day chocolates and a card that reads “To me” sitting on the vanity table.
At a news conference Thursday, the mayor said he thought “it was cute looking in the mirror … I like what I see in the mirror.”
The billionaire mayor said he has much to be happy about: His kids turned out great, he works hard and he’s made a lot of money, which he says “he’s giving away and making a big difference.”
The cartoon was made by Barry Blitt. His other famous covers include Barack and Michelle Obama fist-bumping each other.
