Here’s Mayor Bloomberg, looking the very picture of a billionaire statesman.

Hizzoner appears somber as he oozes presidential panache while posing for the December issue of GQ magazine, in which he’s named Leader of the Year.

He commented when it was over, “It doesn’t get any easier than this,” said GQ creative director Jim Moore.

A GQ spokesman added that Bloomberg “asked for directions, if he should smile, and the photographer told him, ‘No, you’re doing great.’ They were going for a serious look.”

Also, “he asked if GQ was on the iPad [it is], because he is a big fan of the iPad.”
