Two fashionistas convicted for walking out of Bloomingdale’s wearing thousands of dollars in layers of stolen couture were sentenced Thursday to five years’ probation.

In April, a jury found Davia Clarke, 25, and Shuchanna Barrett, 25, guilty of stealing $3,200 in Rag & Bone jeans as well as other goods and were unconvinced by Barrett’s trial defense: that she was wearing all the pants at once because she was cold.

Prosecutor Aaron Ginandes asked that Barrett be sentenced to one to three years in prison because she also bit a security guard on the ear when confronted. The prosecutor had recommended six months for Clarke.

But Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Neil Ross took mercy, slapping them with probation, plus 10 days’ community service for Barrett.

Still, the judge condemned the crook’s behavior, noting, “Could those pants possibly have been worth this?”
