A foundation run by Mayor Bloomberg’s daughters delivered $195,700 in grants to more than a dozen charities — many of which help animals, according to its most recent filing covering 2008.
The largest donation, $50,000, went to the city’s Animal Care and Control bureau. Other recipients included Guiding Eyes for the Blind, which received $2,000, and the chimp-rescue group Chimpanzee Artist Foundation, which got $2,700.
