An upper Manhattan bodega worker was fatally stabbed following a confrontation outside the store Wednesday night, police said.
The 28-year-old man, identified as Mohamed Nasser Awawdah, was stabbed in the chest during an argument with a group of people gathered outside of Dyckman Kwik Stop in Inwood about 8 p.m., police said.
Before the stabbing, Awawdah had tried to get the group to disperse, police sources said.
He was declared dead at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.
No arrests have been made, police said.
