A body feared to be that of a missing Queens mother was found near an abandoned Long Island home yesterday, law-enforcement sources said.

Authorities believe the dead woman found in Uniondale at 8:45 a.m. is Jamaica Smith, 39, of St Albans, who’s been missing since the day before Thanksgiving, sources said.

It’s not known how the woman died, but homicide detectives are working the case, the sources said.

Smith, a hairdresser, was last seen dropping off her 6-year-old daughter at PS 156 in Laurelton. Before her disappearance, she told family members she had been harassed by a man near the school, her sister has said.

She had recently moved to New York from Tennessee.

“We aren’t sure what happened. We just want the police to do their job and get to the bottom or this” said Smith’s best friend, Toi Jackson.
