A shirtless man was found dead along a muddy Brooklyn shoreline Saturday afternoon, authorities said.

Police discovered the body, which did not show signs of trauma, on a nature trail at Avenue U and Burnett Street in Gerritsen Beach at around 4:20 p.m.

He appeared to be between 20 and 30 years old.

It was not clear if his body washed up on the shore, or if he died where he was discovered.
