A man was found dead in his Brooklyn apartment with a bag over his head — and one of his hands handcuffed to his bed on Tuesday night, police sources told The Post.

Devon McCormick, 58, was found by his landlord at about 8:50 p.m. after residents in his Crown Heights building complained of a smell emanating from the apartment, the sources said.

The landlord entered his apartment on Franklin Avenue near Pacific Street and found him dead with a bag over his head and one of his hands handcuffed to his bed.

Police were investigating the death as a potential suicide, but have not ruled out the possibility McCormick was killed by someone else.

The city medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
