The body of a middle-aged woman was found yesterday stuffed inside a laundry bag and dumped in a vacant lot in Brooklyn, authorities said.
The unidentified woman in her 40s was discovered at about 12:15 p.m. on Lott Avenue near Bristol Street in Brownsville, cops said.
“A passer-by came by and saw part of the body sticking out of the bag so they flagged down a police officer,” said Councilman Charles Barron.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
The bag was found in plain view on top of a board in the front of the lot, according to Barron.
