A man was shot dead in Brooklyn early Saturday — and his body was discovered alongside piles of trash bags, cops said.
Police responded around 4:45 a.m. to a call of an unconscious person on Chauncey Street near Thomas S. Boyland Street in Ocean Hill, authorities said. When they arrived, they found the lifeless victim with a gunshot wound to his chest, next to the bags of garbage.
The 29-year-old was pronounced dead at Interfaith Medical Center.
The motive for the slaying was unclear Saturday afternoon, and no arrests were immediately made.
The victim’s name has not yet been released, pending family notification.
