Multiple suitcases apparently filled with body parts were found inside a Brooklyn apartment Wednesday afternoon, according to police sources.

Cops made the gruesome discovery at 315 Linwood St. in East New York around 1:30 p.m. after a foul odor was reported in a sixth-floor home, sources said.

Officials entered the apartment and discovered blood and human remains after receiving word that the tenant — a woman in her 20s — was unaccounted for, the sources said.

A person of interest had been identified and was being sought for questioning, according to sources.

The NYPD was waiting for search warrants Tuesday night and officials said an investigation into “a large amount of blood” found at the location was underway.

Kim Angeles, 24, who lives next door to the gruesome scene, said the building superintendent first discovered human remains in the neighboring apartment and called police.

Multiple other building residents told The Post the woman who lives in the apartment where the remains were found has a boyfriend with whom she would often fight.

The medical examiner was investigating the findings and was expected to release further information Thursday, sources said.
