A body was recovered from the East River on Friday evening — floating off the shore of Domino Park in Brooklyn, police said.
Police pulled the man to shore in Williamsburg just before 7 p.m. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at 7:17 p.m., police said.
He was believed to be in his 30s.
It was not immediately clear how the man ended up in the water; there were no signs of trauma, according to police.
The NYPD has not yet released the man’s identity.
