A New Jersey man allegedly posed as an NYPD officer in Queens and Manhattan and threatened prostitutes with arrest if they did not perform sexual acts for free.

Warren Taylor, of Bushkill, NJ, was awaiting arraignment in a Brooklyn court yesterday.

The 32-year-old suspect was arrested Monday on charges that included impersonating a police officer.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether he has a lawyer.

Taylor is accused in four separate incidents last month and this month, police said.

In one incident, Taylor hit a woman in the face and bruised her, police said.
