The Long Island building where Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy’s office is located was briefly evacuated after a suspicious package was found.

Nassau County Police say they received a call at 9:50 a.m. yesterday. Arson, bomb-squad and other police personnel went to the congresswoman’s Garden City office.

Officer Carolyn Kasdorf says nothing dangerous was found and the evacuation was called off.
