A bookie who was a member of a massive illegal sports-gambling ring cut a plea bargain with prosecutors yesterday that calls on him to forfeit $1.3 million in ill-gotten profits in exchange for a light sentence.

Charles Cicalo, 49, of Staten Island, was facing up to 25 years in prison for his role in the online operation.

He has to fork over the money as a condition for serving only one to three years in prison.

Cicalo used two sports gambling Web sites, crownsports.com and jazzsports.com, to accumulate more than $2.7 million in illegal proceeds from bettors from Queens to Costa Rica, said Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.

Cicalo was busted in April 2010 along with 25 others.
