A 16-year-old boy was critically injured when he was stabbed five times in the chest and abdomen, possibly with a screwdriver, Sunday evening in Brooklyn, according to cops and law enforcement sources.

The attack happened around 6:50 p.m. at the intersection of Carrol Street and Rochester Avenue in Crown Heights when an assailant or assailants assaulted the teen victim, cops said.

The boy was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he is listed in critical but stable condition, police said.

A screwdriver was recovered near the crime scene and cops are investigating if the household tool was used in the stabbing, sources said.

Sources said the victim sustained five stab wounds.

There were no arrests, but police said they are looking for a teenage suspect or suspects.
