A 14-year-old boy riding a bike was killed Saturday night when he was struck by a Jeep on Long Island.
The accident happened about 8:10 p.m. at Lakeland Avenue at Union Parkway in Ronkonkoma.
The teen was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name was not immediately released.
Another car stopped to help and a passenger got out to help, only to be struck by another car. He sustained minor injuries.
All the drivers remained at the scene.
