A 7-year-old boy fell out of a fourth floor window Saturday evening and amazingly suffered only minor injuries, police said.

Police responded to a call for a boy lying on the sidewalk outside 2950 Bainbridge Ave, in Norwood, shortly after 6 p.m.

EMS rushed the youngster, who was described as “conscious and alert,” to Jacobi Hospital.

The child, who is from out-of-state, and his mother, were there visiting relatives, which is why there were no window guards in the apartment.

The name of the boy was not immediately released.
