A terminally ill Bronx man died Thursday night after being kicked by his 11-year-old stepson — but the kid is off the hook for now, law-enforcement sources said Friday.

George Szkred, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney cancer, was in an argument with the boy at their home in NYCHA’s Bailey Houses when the kid kicked the 51-year-old man and he fell unconscious on the couch, sources said.

Szkred died in an ambulance on the way to St. Barnabas Hospital.

Cops questioned the stepson, then released the boy to his mom.

As of Friday evening, police were still waiting for an autopsy to determine how Szkred died, sources said.
