A squabble over a video game remote control ended with a 12-year-old Queens boy accidentally cutting himself with a knife, authorities said.
The youngster barged into his 13-year-old friend’s home on 174th Street in Jamaica and accused the friend of stealing his Xbox remote control, according to police.
The older boy then allegedly brandished a knife.
But instead of backing down, the feisty 12-year-old tried to grab the knife — and sliced his finger.
He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where doctors sewed up his finger.
He was later sent home with his parents.
The 13-year-old was charged as a minor with menacing.
The two boys live across the street from each other, sources said.
The teenager also suffered a minor injury, police said.
