The Long Island college student whose theft case was buried by top cops at the behest of his wealthy dad landed a sweetheart deal yesterday — no jail time and no permanent record of his crime.
In exchange, Zachary Parker, 20, of Merrick — who has been busted for drugs twice since his theft arrest — finally copped to the theft, which involved him swiping electronics from John F. Kennedy HS in Bellmore.
Parker will get just five years of probation in a Youthful Offender plea deal, ruled Nassau County Judge John Kase, who ignored the prosecutor’s objections.
Parker was 18 at the time of his alleged theft of electronics. The cutoff for possible youthful-offender status is 19.
Three top Nassau cops were busted and charged for giving Parker special treatment and for accepting gifts from the suspect’s dad, high-powered accountant Gary Parker, a benefactor for police causes.
