The NFL announced Wednesday that Vikings quarterback Brett Favre will be fined $50,000 for the Jenn Sterger episode.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello confirmed the announcement on his Twitter account, writing that the NFL found “no violation of league policy,” during its investigation into accusations that Favre sent lewd photographs to Sterger in 2008.

Aiello added that Favre’s fine stemmed from a “lack of cooperation” into the investigation.
