Someone threw a brick at a moving NYPD patrol car on Staten Island Wednesday afternoon, breaking the vehicle’s front windshield, cops said.

The brick was in a bag when it was thrown at the cruiser around 1:20 p.m. at Jersey Street and Richmond Terrace in St. George, according to police.

The brick-thrower, who took off on foot, was nabbed and taken into custody, police sources said.

Charges were pending.
