A partial building collapse in The Bronx squashed more than 100 birds inside a live poultry store.

Roofs atop Nick’s Live Poultry and JV Auto Sound on West Fordham Road near Hampden Place in University Heights caved in around 8 a.m . No humans were injured, officials said.

But the owner of Nick’s said “more than 100” chickens, ducks and turkeys died.

“I thought it was an April Fool’s Joke,” said Dantony Paula, 23, owner of JV Auto Sound.

The city’s Department of Buildings is investigating the cause of the collapse.
