A kersone heater leaking carbon monoxide sickened a Bronx family, sending a mother and her two children to the hospital, sources said.
The scare happened at about 1:20 p.m. in an apartment on the corner East Gun Hill Road and Webster Avenue in Norwood, sources added.
The victims were taken to Jacobi Medical Center, said an FDNY spokesman.
A street-level appliance store was also checked for carbon monoxide readings; none were found and the business was cleared by the FDNY to remain open.
