One man died in a fire inside a Bronx home, cops said.
The fire erupted on the first floor around 10 p.m. at the three-story house on Weeks Avenue, officials said. After the FDNY extinguished the fire, they found unidentified man unconscious and unresponsive, with burns on his body.
He was rushed to Bronx Lebanon Hospital where he was pronounced, police said. Another individual was also taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital in serious but stable condition, authorities said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
