A Bronx gunman who mortally wounded a livery driver, sending the car crashing into a wall, was found guilty of murder yesterday.

Francisco Santos, 22, lowered his head when the verdict was read in Bronx Supreme Court as two dozen relatives and supporters gasped or burst into tears.

Santos shot Roberto Pita, 37, in the back three times after being picked up at about 1 a.m. May 10, 2009, on Davidson Avenue in the borough’s Tremont section.

Pita, a father of two, crashed his Lincoln Town Car through a schoolyard fence and into the cement wall in an attempt to hurt Santos, who was found trapped in the back seat with the murder weapon.

“We, as a family, are devastated by this,” said a relative of Santos, who faces 25 years to life at sentencing on Jan.18.
